Kyle Lowry Injury Update: Rockets Guard Could Return On Sunday Night

The Houston Rockets thought they were going to be without starting guard Kyle Lowry who has been out for a month with a bacterial infection could could return to the lineup Sunday night against the Sacramento Kings. Lowry has been going through walk-throughs and shoot arounds this past weekend, but head coach Kevin McHale is not certain about Lowry's status.

The practices that Lowry has participated in have been really light so it is not known what type of shape Lowry is even in, and the next practice the Rockets have is after the current road trip on Thursday.

Basically not much more is known on Lowry's status, he could play Sunday against Sacramento, Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers, at home against the Utah Jazz or sit out the season as originally planned.

Lowry's status is obviously improving if there is discussion of him coming back in the lineup, but the question now is when will he get back in the lineup.
