Rockets Vs. Kings Final Score: Houston Easily Gets Past Sacramento, 104-87

The Houston Rockets have now won their third straight game and are creating a little bit of breathing room in the Western Conference playoff race as they defeated the Sacramento Kings 104-87. The Rockets did slip a little bit in the third quarter and allowed Sacramento to make it a 10 point game, but in the fourth the Rockets responded and outscored the Kings by seven.

One key stat in this game was that the Rockets took 93 shots compared to the Kings who only took 69, so even though the Rockets shot 45 percent and the Kings shot 44 percent the Rockets made 42 shots compared to the Kings 30. That was the difference in the game.

It also helped that the Rockets had six players in double figures including Courtney Lee who had a team high 25 points by going 11-of-18 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range. The win puts the Rockets at the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference playoff race.

The Rockets also saw the return of Kyle Lowry who has been out with a bacterial infection and in his return he played 18 minutes and scored one point to go along with seven assists.
