The Houston Rockets are starting to be on the outside looking in on landing Dwight Howard from the Orlando Magic.
There was a report that talks have stalled between the Magic and Rockets as of Friday, and now the latest on Howard is that he could be heading to the Los Angeles Lakers in a three-team deal.
Three-team deal may send Dwight Howard to Lakers, Andrew Bynum to Cavs and picks/prospects/cap relief to Magic. Still trying to get details.

If this trade is to go down it would definitely make the Lakers the early favorites to win another NBA title.
As for the Rockets, if they do indeed miss out on acquiring Howard they would have stripped down their roster and would have nothing to show for their efforts.
