As it was noted earlier Tuesday, the likelihood of Goran Dragic returning to the Rockets this coming season has become slimmer. Dragic and the Rockets did not reach a deal when the unrestricted free agent made his visit to Houston on Monday, leading reports to indicate that a deal was far from getting done.
One source says it just isn't happening, which means the Rockets are going to have to come up with an alternative at point guard. That alternative is probably Kyle Lowry, whose relationship with second-year head coach Kevin McHale will have to be mended before we see any progress on that front.
As @ESPNSteinLine mentioned last night, little chance of Dragic return to Rockets. Source: "Goran’s not coming back. Just not happening."
