The Houston Rockets are looking to fill in some holes in their back court after they traded Kyle Lowry to the Toronto Raptors. Los Angeles Lakers free agent guard Ramon Sessions is now on the radar for the Rockets to potentially sign. This past season Sessions averaged 11.3 points and 5.5 assists per game, but he only say action in 23 games.
The Rockets will have to compete with the Dallas Mavericks who are also in the running to land Sessions after they lost Jason Kidd to the Brooklyn Nets. There is no deal intiment for the Rockets to sign Sessions, and according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen the Rockets have only contacted Sessions.
Rockets have "touched base" with Ramon Sessions and Raymond Felton. Unlikely either signs with Rockets, source said.
