NBA Trade Rumors: Knicks, Nets Frontrunners To Land Marcus Camby

The Houston Rockets are entertaining sign-and-trade offers for center Marcus Camby and the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets have emerged as frontrunners according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Rockets are looking for a combination of draft picks or a young player and not a stop gap veteran since the team is full rebuild mode. Camby had been interested in signing in Miami but the Heat opted to give their mid-level exception to Ray Allen.

Brooklyn continues to participate in trade talks for Dwight Howard but are also working to re-sign Brook Lopez. Camby would provide solid depth at center for whichever team that is able to acquire him.
