It's being reported that C.J. Miles will join the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2012-13 NBA season, after setting aside the interest of several other teams. Among those interested in Miles were the Houston Rockets, but it seems as though he wants to play in Cleveland for the opportunity to be a more impact player for a young group.

Multiple teams — Lakers, Rockets, Bucks, Mavericks — showed interest in Miles. He chose Cavaliers not because of money, but opportunity.

Miles was drafted by the Jazz in 2005 after playing his high school ball at Dallas Skyline. He's averaged 8.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in his seven-year career.
