Forward Jon Brockman of the Houston Rockets was involved in a workout accident on Monday, getting hit in the eyes when a resistance band snapped. The former University of Washington star is currently recovering from injury to both of his eyes, though his left eye is recovering. The news was broken by Seattle based radio host Dave Softy Mahler on twitter:

The 25-year old forward has averaged 2.1 points per game playing in 150 games during his young NBA career with two different teams. He was traded to the Rockets from the Milwaukee Bucks back in June.
