Week 10 Texans Injury Report: Daniels Will Miss Second Game In A Row, Kampman Out For Jags

Texans tight end Owen Daniels will miss his second game in a row with a hamstring injury that occurred against the Colts. He has yet to practice since Monday night’s game, and at this point we may be looking at a situation where he’s out an extended length of time. If someone starts to emerge between Joel Dreessen and James Casey for full tight end snaps, that person would be a great pickup in fantasy leagues.

Jaguars defensive end Aaron Kampman tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season. He injured himself during practice Thursday and had the MRI results come in today. That should be a boost to Matt Schaub’s time in the pocket, but you were likely going to start him anyway.

Here’s the full thing from Scurfield:

Texans

Out

TE Owen Daniels (hamstring/DNP)

Doubtful
LB Xavier Adibi (hamstring/DNP)

Questionable
WR Andre Johnson (ankle/limited), DE Jesse Nading (knee/limited), CB Glover Quin (neck/full)

Probable
DE Mark Anderson (arm/full), LB Kevin Bentley (knee/full), G Mike Brisiel (back/full), DT Shaun Cody (knee/limited, TE Garrett Graham (shoulder/full), LB Stanford Keglar (thigh/full), DT Earl Mitchell (ankle/full), CB Karl Paymah (wrist/full), QB Matt Schaub (ribs/full), DE Mario Williams (groin/full)

Jaguars

Out
DE Aaron Kampman (knee/DNP)

Probable
DT Tyson Alualu (knee/full), FB Greg Jones (ankle/full), DE Jeremy Mincey (hand/full), LB Daryl Smith (back/full)

Both Johnson and Schaub will start. Alualu’s knee is apparently doing much better. Xavier Adibi will likely be a DNP for the second straight week in a row, although one can argue that he hasn’t ever really shown up since 2008.
