Only two real surprises on the injury report today. Texans quarterback Matt Schaub had his bursa sac drained in his knee Tuesday night and was hopsitalized after the procedure today. Most players would probably miss a game after the procedure, but given how important the quarterback position is to NFL teams and how important Schaub in particular is to the slim odds that the Texans will make the playoffs, expect to see him practicing tomorrow. Sorry if that goes against your injury-prone ideal of him.
On the other side of the spectrum: someone who actually is injury prone, Xavier Adibi, practiced in full for the first time since…I can’t remember. Probably sometime before Brian Cushing came back. So if the Texans need someone to be horrendous in pass coverage and tackle with the full force of mediocrity, they should have him back on the bench.
