Week 12 Texans Injury Report: Cushing Held Out With Knee

Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was held out due to a sore knee today. Although Gary Kubiak did say that part of the reasoning behind that was the very early start the Texans had today for Thanksgiving, he also wasn’t sure whether or not he’d practice tomorrow. Combine that with the Texans being harder to get injury news off of then the Patriots and I think there’s a little reason to be worried here, although I’m not in panic mode yet.

Here’s the rest of the list, according to Nick Scurfield:

Texans

Did Not Participate in Practice
LB Xavier Adibi (hamstring), DT Shaun Cody (illness), LB Brian Cushing (knee), TE Owen Daniels (hamstring), DE Jesse Nading (knee)

Limited Participation in Practice
WR David Anderson (hamstring), DE Mario Williams (groin)

Full Participation in Practice
LB Kevin Bentley (shoulder, knee), LB Zac Diles (illness), WR Andre Johnson (ankle), CB Glover Quin (hand), QB Matt Schaub (knee), LS Jon Weeks (knee)

Titans

Did Not Participate in Practice
DE Dave Ball (concussion), K Rob Bironas (rt. groin), WR Kenny Britt (hamstring), DT Tony Brown (knee), QB Kerry Collins (calf), DT Jason Jones (knee)

Limited Participation in Practice
TE Craig Stevens (knee)

The biggest news on the Tennessee sideline would be the absence of Jason Jones and Tony Brown, who have both been really good for them this year. If they can’t go, Arian Foster is going to have much better fortune in the run game, assuming Kubiak actually calls on him to tote the rock.
