Week 9 NFL Scores: Texans Still Just Game Back After Indy Stumbles In Philadelphia

AFC South Scores

San Diego 29, Houston 23 - Recap here.

Indianapolis 24, Philadephia 26 - With the help of a few questionable penalty calls, the Colts were in position to come back and defeat the Eagles on the road, but an Asante Samuel pick in the two-minute drill left the Eagles on the winning side of the scoreboard. Jacob Tamme had 11 catches for 108 yards and a score, but the Colts were turned away as the Eagles ran for 195 combined yards on the ground. Apparently, unlike the Texans, they noticed that the Colts were vulnerable on the ground.

The Colts lost Austin Collie to a concussion, and it looked pretty scary. Expect him to be out for at least next week's game. Gary Brackett also came off the field late for the Colts but it isn't believed to be a serious injury for him.

Tennessee - Bye

Jacksonville - Bye

New AFC South Standings
