Week 13 Texans Injury Report: Owen Daniels Out Again, Possible Receiver Concerns?

The "big" injury news is that the Texans placed back-up safety Torri Williams on injured reserve and signed rookie guard Shelley Smith from the practice squad.

Earlier this week, Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Steve Slaton would be returning kicks on Thursday. With two receivers listed as questionable, one can assume that it's because the team needs Jacoby Jones to focus more on his receiver roles. There's also a possibility that Dorin Dickerson could get offensive snaps with Houston being thin at wide receiver. It may also explain why Anthony Hill was activated.

Per the always reliable Nick Scurfield, here's the entire injury report for Thursday's game.

Texans

Out
LB Xavier Adibi (hamstring/DNP), TE Owen Daniels (hamstring/DNP)

Doubtful
None

Questionable
WR David Anderson (hamstring/limited), DE Jesse Nading (knee/DNP), WR Kevin Walter (calf/limited)

Probable
LB Kevin Bentley (knee, shoulder/full), LB Brian Cushing (knee/limited), TE Joel Dreessen (knee/full), WR Jacoby Jones (illness/full), CB Glover Quin (hand/full), QB Matt Schaub (knee/full), T Eric Winston (shoulder/full)

Eagles

Out
DE Juqua Parker (hip/DNP)

Doubtful
None

Questionable
WR Riley Cooper (knee/DNP), CB Asante Samuel (knee/limited)

Probable
CB Jorrick Calvin (back/full), G Nick Cole (knee/full), CB Trevard Lindley (knee/full), RB LeSean McCoy (shoulder/full)

Again, if you're a Texans fan then hope Samuel can't go on Thursday night as the Eagles pass defense takes a significant dip without him.
