Nashville, TN (Sports Network) – Kerry Collins passed for 237 yards and two touchdowns and the Tennessee Titans snapped a six-game losing streak with a 31-17 victory over the Houston Texans.
Collins threw touchdown passes to Nate Washington and Justin Gage in the first quarter and Chris Johnson scored on an 11-yard run to give the Titans a 21-0 lead in the first 13 minutes of the game.
Johnson rushed for 130 yards on 24 carries, while Kenny Britt caught six passes for 128 yards to help Tennessee (6-8) to its first win since October 24 over Philadelphia.
Matt Schaub was 35-of-53 for 325 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Texans (5-9), who fell to 1-7 in their last eight games. Arian Foster rushed 11 times for just 15 yards in the loss.
