The Texans offense continues to receive praise as their defense continues to lead to losses. Today it was announced that Texans running back Arian Foster and wide receiver Andre Johnson were able to secure themselves top status amongst RBs and WRs in the AFC Pro Bowl fan voting. Good news, but expected news.
↵In more unexpected news, Vonta Leach, under his catchy Send Leach To The Beach campaign, overtook LeRon McClain and Mike Tolbert to win the AFC's fan vote for fullbacks.
↵Now of course, none of this means that those three players will make the team, as fan voting only makes up 1/3rd of the total process, but it was a great showing by Houston fans to get Leach the recognition he deserved. Hopefully the rest of the NFL will reciprocate those feelings. Foster finished 8th overall in the NFL with 710,000 votes.
↵No Texans defender finished in the top of his voting, although it's still possible that Mario Williams will be named to the team despite not having any chance to play. DeMeco Ryans' injury knocked him out too early for him to be considered, and Brian Cushing's poor play and PED suspension to start the season really put him behind the eight ball as well.
