Andre Johnson Inactive Against Broncos

According to the official Houston Texans Twitter, WR Andre Johnson will be inactive today against the Broncos.

It’s the smart move, the Texans have nothing to play for today. Instead, Jacoby Jones will draw the start for the Texans. If he happens to catch some balls, he could be a good last-second replacement for you Andre Johnson owners. But that’s not usually something we Texans fans rely on. Look elsewhere for your upgrade.

The Texans had nothing to play for today, and nothing to gain but personal achievements statistically by playing Andre Johnson. As we first reported on Wednesday, the last time Johnson was a game time decision, he did not play against the Raiders in Week 4. Kudos to Gary Kubiak for not gambling his star receiver to try and better his chances of keeping his job.
