All you fantasy owners who started Owen Daniels last week, take heart. It wasn't that he lost status in the Houston offense or that he's not as good as he'd been earlier in the season. He just went up against a wrecking crew of a defense in the Baltimore Ravens who have been especially tough on tight ends.
↵Did you know that Baltimore has given up nine points to opposing tight ends this season? Not nine points per game, but nine points total. While they haven't faced the Antonio Gates, Aaron Hernandez or Jason Witten's of the world, they have faced off with Dustin Keller and Owen Daniels in consecutive weeks, giving up four catches for 25 yards combined between those two games.
↵That's barely two points in non-PPR leagues or five points in a PPR league. For the total between two games with top-flight fantasy tight ends. Suffice it to say, Baltimore is good.
↵On the other hand, Tennessee is giving up an above-average amount of points to TEs and with Andre Johnson out again this week, Daniels will be one of the Texans main targets.
