AFC South Standings: Texans Head Into Week 8 With Division Lead

After seven weeks of NFL football, the Houston Texans are at the top of the AFC South standings with a 4-3 record.

After seven weeks of play in the NFL season, the Houston Texans find themselves leading the AFC South with a 4-3 record. The Texans defeated second place Tennessee 41-7 without Andre Johnson and Mario Williams in Week 7. They will have a chance to further pad their division lead when they host Jacksonville on Sunday.

Tennessee is 3-3 in the division and will look to bounce back from the blow out loss to the Texans at home against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have their own problems as they were embarrassed in Week 7 by the New Orleans Saints losing 62-7 on Sunday Night Football. Indy is winless and without Peyton Manning and figure to provide the Titans with the opportunity for a quick bounce back.

Jacksonville scored an upset 12-7 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football and travel to Houston with a 2-5 record and in third place in the AFC South.
