Texans fans and fantasy football owners, your worries can officially be put to bed. The best wide receiver in the NFL is officially back, on the practice field that is. Houston Texans superstar wideout Andre Johnson participated in every drill in practice for the first time since suffering a torn hamstring. Johnson has missed the last three games while healing from the surgery.
Texans' head coach Gary Kubiak has noted that he will lean heavily on Johnson's self-prognosis before determining the wide receiver's fate on the football field Sunday versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Also, with Danieal Manning going down for a significant period of time with a broken fibia, the Texans have a double conundrum with issues in the secondary and at kick return. On Tuesday, the Texans signed free-agent Quintin Demps to back fill Manning at safety. At kick return, the odds on favorite to take over Manning's duties is Jacoby Jones.
