Andre Johnson Injury Update: Johnson May Be Out 2-3 Weeks

On the Tuesday afternoon SportsCenter, ESPN's John Clayton became the bearer of bad news for Texans fans:

Johnson injured his hamstring in Houston's 17-10 victory over PIttsburgh last weekend, and after he began clamoring for a second opinion on Monday, it was clear the injury was more serious than previously thought.

In his three games before the injury, the 6'3 225 WR was as dominant as ever, with 21 catches for 319 yards and 2 TD's.

Johnson's absence is the latest setback for the Houston offense, which has suffered injuries to star RB Arian Foster as well as backups Ben Tate and Derrick Ward.

Johnson has more receiving yards than the rest of the Texans' WR's combined. Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walter will have to fill the four-time All-Pro's shoes going into a crucial stretch of games against Oakland, Baltimore and as well as fellow AFC South division leader Tennessee.

As of now, the Texans have not commented on Clayton's report.
