The Atlanta Falcons' workhorse, starting running back Michael Turner, sat out of practice for a second straight day on Thursday with a groin injury.
Also out for the Falcons - corner Brent Grimes (knee), corner Kelvin Hayden (toe), linebacker Stephen Nicholas (quad) and receiver Julio Jones (hamstring). Limited in practice were left tackle Sam Baker (back) and defensive tackle Vance Walker. Veterans John Abraham, Tony Gonzalez and Todd McClure were held out Wednesday but returned Thursday, and corner Dunta Robinson has been practicing all week with a neck injury.
Not practicing Thursday for the Texans were defensive tacke Tim Bulman (calf) and fullback Lawrence Vickers (hamstring), while three players were limited - linebacker Brian Cushing (ribs), receiver Andre Johnson (knee) and tight end Garrett Graham.
But 13 other Texans were listed as practicing with some kind of ailment. They are: linebacker Mister Alexander (shoulder), nose tackle Shaun Cody (toe and ankle), linebacker Tim Dobbins (shoulder), corner Jonathan Joseph (hip) safety Glover Quin (elbow), defense end Antonio Smith (shoulder and back), gaurd Wade Smith (ankle), corner Jason Allen (thumb), gaurd Mike Brisiel (ankle), tight end Owen Daniels (knee), tight end Joel Dreesen (neck), safety Danieal Manning (ankle) and FINALLY, defensive end JJ Watt (knee and thigh).
