A fumble from Ben Tate, an interception from T.J. Yates and lapses in the Houston Texans defenses have created a 13-point deficit for Gary Kubiak's football team trails the Cincinnati Bengals going into halftime.
Andy Dalton has thrown for 112 yards and a pretty touchdown pass to Jerome Simpson in the second quarter to give the Bengals a then ten-point advantage. Cedric Benson, who was questionable for Sunday's game, has put up a strong first half as his 92 rushing yards on 13 carries has kept the Texans defense on edge.
Yates has played well in spurts, as his 129 passing yards at the half has helped keep the chains moving for the Texans. The Texans have gotten 85 rushing yards thus far from the combination of Arian Foster and Tate, but the backup tailback's fumble at the goal-line killed a ton of the momentum for the Houston offense early.
Cincinnati will receive the ball in the second half, as both teams are jockeying for position in the AFC playoff race.
