Andre Johnson Injury Update: Texans WR Expected to Play in Week 17

While Houston Texans star wide receiver Andre Johnson, who is still suffering from hamstring injuries that have held him out of eight games this season, isn't expected to play against the Colts on Sunday, he is expected to be back in the lineup in Week 17 when the Texans host the Tennessee Titans.

Johnson should play the Jan. 1 game against Tennessee to get ready for his first playoff appearance. Indy is the 9th game he's missed. 26 minutes ago via web · powered by @socialditto

This is good news for the Texans as Johnson is such an integral part of their offense. He would be able to get back into game mode before the Texans' first franchise playoff game. It would also allow quarterback T.J. Yates and Johnson to get on the same page before the playoffs. The two have only played together in two games so far this season.
