After one half of play, the Houston Texans take a 10-6 lead into the intermission over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Texans scored an early Colts turnover and turned that into an Arian Foster nine yard touchdown run for an early 7-0 lead. Indianapolis answered back later in the quarter with an Adam Vinatieri field goal to cut the lead to 7-3.
Houston pushed the lead back to seven after a 54 yard drive that resulted in a 44 yard field goal from Neil Rackers to make the score 10-3 after one. Houston struggled offensively and with penalties in the second quarter. The only scoring came on a 32 yard field goal by Vinatieri that made the score 10-6 at the half.
Tyler Yates finished the first half 5 of 7 for 45 yards with a lost fumble. Arian Foster has 10 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown in the first half. The Texans hurt themselves with miscues in the first half committing seven penalties for 62 yards.
Dan Orlovsky is 10 of 18 for 98 yards in the first half for the Colts. Joseph Addai has 42 yards on 15 carries in the first half. Reggie Wayne caught five passes for 54 yards to lead all receivers.
