Wade Phillips has been around a long time. When he says that Cushing is the best he's ever coached, that's high praise, but very appropriate praise for a player who's been a whirling dervish on the defense for the Texans.
↵Which is great for a lot of reasons, especially since there were questions on how Cushing would do moving to inside linebacker. He also had a down sophomore season, so to see him playing at a high level at a new position in a new defense has been great.
