NFL Combine Schedule: Sunday Means Skill Players

Today the NFL Combine will be taken over by those players the Texans won't really be searching for in the first round: quarterbacks. Prepare for Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, and the rest of the crew to be thoroughly dissected at the expense of analysis on the running backs and wide receivers. While it's highly unlikely that the Texans will worry about a quarterback or running back today, they could very well be on the market for a wide receiver. Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter aren't getting any younger, and Jacoby Jones could be on the outs if the NFL actually has free agency this season. Here's a look at the full schedule for Sunday, courtesy of Dan Kadar at Mocking The Draft:

9:00 AM - Workouts: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs (HD) - LIVE (Encores in its entirety at 4:00 PM with cut-down versions at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM )

2:00 PM - Workouts: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Running Backs (HD) - LIVE

7:00 PM - NFL Total Access at the Scouting Combine (HD) (Encores at 10:00 PM and 1:00 AM)

Starting at 9:00 AM - NFL.com LIVE: Complete, all-access coverage of group workouts.

All day - NFL.com: Exclusive daily video clips available.

(all times ET)

As I said, the Texans will likely not be making a move on any of the big quarterbacks, but that doesn't mean they won't pick a developmental one. Keep an eye on Nathan Enderle, the apple of Daniel Charles' eye, as well as Houston native Andy Dalton and Virginia Tech's Tyrod Taylor.

A deep group of wide receivers are slated to participate today, and while it's not likely the Texans will actually go this route as they're focused on defense first, Julio Jones is probably the best prospect that is likely to be available at #11, so make sure to check him out. Other WR's that might be on the Texans radar include Boise St's Titus Young, Miami's Leonard Hankerson, Maryland's Torrey Smith, and TCU's Jeremy Kerley.
