Appearing on 610 yesterday, Matt Schaub took to the airwaves to firmly denounce the NFL and NFLPA and say that he and his teammates are not working out and don't plan to until the lockout is over. No, that didn't actually happen. But it's more exciting than what he really had to say:
↵↵↵:If there is any concern with the lockout or if it still early in the process:
↵"We're still a ways away from the season and getting ready for it, right now it's about lifting, running, and getting our bodies ready to go after some time off to heal from last season. As we get closer into May, when we would be getting ready for mini-camps and OTA's, I think that's when it's really going to be strange and difficult for some players because we're so used to getting ready for those practices and going in and getting ready for football and getting our preparation down going into training camp. I think that's the time period when it will start to get a little strange."
↵How much he knows about everything that is going on with the negotiations:
↵"We have conference calls every now and then but for the longest while, since everything took place on March 11th there hasn't been much as far as anything to talk about until April 6th when they went into court. At least now they're talking and they're in the courts doing mediation and that's the good thing. We want to get this resolved and we're excited to be back talking because if they're not talking then nothing can happen. At least they're face-to-face, the decision makers are in the same room, and they're able to try and work something out."

We've kind of hit the dead cycle for lockout news. Neither side is budging, and they'll likely force Susan Nelson to give an injunction, followed by the inevitable appeal. Boring times ahead, just like every Matt Schaub interview.
