Texans Draft Picks 2011: J.J. Watt Is A Texan, What Do We Think?

I know, it's hard to formulate an opinion on a draft before the draft is even over. But our culture rewards jumping to conclusions, so lets talk about the Texans No. 11 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft: J.J. Watt, defensive end, Wisconsin.

He was rated as one of the best defensive ends in the draft, he looks like he can hold down the edge in a 3-4 defense, and has some ability to rush the passer as well as elude blocks. How he fits on the Texans with Mario Williams and Antonio Smith both already slated to work the edge is a matter of some conjecture. Wade Phillips could use a piece like this in a number of ways, including kicking him inside on passing downs, letting Williams freelance a little more outside, or even possibly letting Williams or Smith play nose tackle on passing downs.

But the question is: what do you, the readers (and assumedly Texans fans), think of this pick?
