While the NFL Lockout continues to drag on in a series of legal battles, the real battles are going on in secret. No, I'm not talking about the efforts to recruit and contact players secretly to help them learn their playbooks, though that's a good guess. I am, of course, talking about crank calling the commissioner of the NFL.
Ex-Texans guard Chester Pitts and his teammate, Raheem Brock, decided that crank calling the commissioner would suffice as a workout for the day, and so, they just went ahead and did that. Video behind the jump.
I'm really impressed by Pitts' voice-acting. Especially on his Barack Obama impersonation, which seems dead-on to me. It's definitely just a meaningless distraction, but hey, there have been much worse uses of time than spending a day pretending to make prank phone calls to the commissioner that won't let you work.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to send my ex-girlfriend 38 pizzas. She knows why.
