What makes America the best country in the world? No, I'm not talking about our Constitution, and I'm not referring to our freedom nor our history.
↵No, somewhere in the "Top 10 Reasons To Be American" list resides our infatuation with football. Everything about it is American. It's what unites us. For four months each year, our nation comes together and liquors up every Sunday. We watch our teams knock the crud out of one another. And there are usually no hard feelings, unless you cheer for the Colts.
↵But what makes football even better and arguably even more American? The cheerleaders.

And despite the drama that is the 2011 NFL season, the Houston Texans have been diligently working to create the best cheerleading squad ever assembled. The Texans recently announced their finalists, narrowing the competition down from 624 to 53.

↵Only 10 veterans from last year's squad have made the cut. The Texans have made an attempt to switch things up, and I have to say that I approve:
↵↵↵↵↵"It was our year to kind of clean house to go in a different direction we kind of wanted to go more into. The emphasis was definitely more on looks this year."

Among the finalists are three sets of twins.
