Arian Foster had the most yards of any running back in the NFL last year, but he wasn't the top running back on the NFL Network's Top 100 list, voted on by the players. Foster finished 25th overall and according to HoustonTexans.com's Nick Scurfield, he is only the third ranked running back.
↵↵↵The league leader in rushing yards, scrimmage yards and touchdowns last season, he ranked ahead of the Raiders' Darren McFadden (No. 98), 49ers' Frank Gore (94), Ravens' Ray Rice (56), Falcons' Michael Turner (42), Rams' Steven Jackson (38), Chiefs' Jamaal Charles (33) and Jags' Jones-Drew (30). Chris Johnson of the Titans and Adrian Peterson of the Vikings are the only running backs who will rank higher.

I guess it's going to take more than one great year to elevate him above the true kings of the running back position, but if this list was really based on the 2010 season, it's a bit of a head-scratcher why he'd be behind any backs.
↵Foster, ever magnanimous, gave props to his offensive linemen on the show. Foster becomes the third Texan to make the list (Vonta Leach, Mario Williams) and Houston will also land Andre Johnson higher on the list. Matt Schaub was strangely snubbed, but of course he's no Donovan McNabb. (Wha?!?)
