Arian Foster Adds To His Resume

It's not enough that Arian Foster went into beast mode for an entire season in 2010. No, he just keeps adding to his impressive list of skills and accolades.

I'm not even talking about his newly-minted ESPY for Best Performance Under Pressure. I'm talking about his bull-riding and sandwich-making abilities. Let me give you just a taste of what I'm talking about before the jump...

Foster wasn't doing this for nothing. I mean, I'm sure he rides bulls in his spare time, right after he plays with his miniature giraffes and roundhouse kicks Chuck Norris in the beard. But, this was for Subway, which is why he also made sandwiches...

As the cutlines above say, Foster was doing this for a really good cause. He was helping raise money for disaster victims and doing it in a fun way. I may have to go try one of those pulled pork sandwiches in his honor. Below is some more explanation of the event, including how you can help.

The SUBWAY® All-Star BBQ event will feature the sandwich chain’s new BBQ Pulled Pork sub, available for a limited time only. Sandwich sales from the event will benefit the West Alabama Food Bank (WAFB), a non-profit organization devoted to feeding victims of the recent flood disaster as well as relief workers rebuilding the area that is one of the original homes of BBQ cuisine.

The event marks the launch of the SUBWAY® "Pullin’ for a Cause" initiative, a national "text to donate" campaign benefiting the WAFB whereby consumers who text "FOOD" to 27722 donate $10. Each donation made through the end of July triggers a matching donation from SUBWAY®.
