How Serious Is Arian Foster's Hamstring Injury?

That's the scary part, we really don't know right now.

Arian Foster tweaked his left hamstring again last night in San Francisco while fantasy football owners around the country cringed with fear. Foster looked like he was in a lot of pain on the sideline, and this what he had to say afterwards:

"It’s a part of life. It’s a roller-coaster ride. You’ve got to remain even-keeled. It didn’t pop or anything like that. It’s a re-aggravation of what I already had."

While it's not any kind of new injury, it's still frightening that this lingering problem won't go away for the NFL's reigning rushing champ. Foster missed ten days earlier in training camp with the same hamstring issue, and Gary Kubiak hopes he can be ready for the opener:

"We’ve got, what, 15 days? We’ll keep our fingers crossed that he recovers. We don’t think it’s anything worse than what we were dealing with before."

It's good to have nice running back depth with Ben Tate and Derrick Ward behind Foster, but would the Texans' offense be able to survive without Foster?

For now, let's hope so.
