Houston Texans Week 2 NFL Injury Report

What's the latest injury news as our Texans prepare to face the Dolphins?

With less than six hours remaining until our Texans take on the Miami Dolphins, let's take a look at the injury report. Everyone has been dying to know what's going on with Arian Foster, and I'm here to bring you the latest news leading up to the game...

RB Arian Foster - Starting

Foster (hamstring) will start Sunday against Miami, the Houston Chronicle reports. "I think he'll be fine," Houston head coach Gary Kubiak said. "As long as there's no setbacks, he's ready to go."

Kubiak has hinted that Foster will get around 20 touches, and I think he shouldn't overdo it. Ben Tate looked more than capable filling in last weekend, and I wouldn't want to risk any further injury with the NFL's reigning rushing leader.

WR Kevin Walter - Doubtful

Walter (collarbone) didn't practice Friday and will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Dolphins,'s Nick Scurfield reports.

While everyone can breathe a deep sigh of relief that Walter didn't actually suffer a broken shoulder against Indy, he still has a very bad bruise. He didn't practice yesterday, and it looks as if he will be a game-time decision.

"Monday and Tuesday I couldn’t even lift my arms up above my head," he said. "Now, I’m catching balls over my head today and I was running without much pain at all."

RB Derrick Ward - Out

Ward (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins,'s Nick Scurfield reports.
