Week 3 NFL Odds: Texans Vs. Saints

A look at the betting lines for Houston-New Orleans.

For the first time this regular season the Houston Texans will not be favorites in their match-up. Of course, this one is understandable as they’ll be going on the road to New Orleans to take on the more-nationally known Saints.

The Texans are currently 4-point underdogs to New Orleans on every other site that Oddshark.com shows us. This is actually better than when the line opened at -5 ½ points, so the oddsmakers are closing the gap (probably to tilt more fans to go with New Orleans). Since New Orleans is the favorite, you’re getting money for Houston Moneyline wise and that’s been a consistent +170/175 all week.

The easy money may be found in the over/under as it’s risen from the opening 52 ½ to 53 points. Given that both offenses are explosive and have gone over 30 points in three out of four combined games, I’d say topping 53 could be easy.
