Week 6 NFL odds: Packers vs. Texans

Lots of points and a close score will be expected in Houston Sunday night, as the Texans are favored over the Packers.

The Star-Ledger-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The undefeated Houston Texans host the reeling Green Bay Packers on Sunday night in Week 6 in a game that has seen the favor slightly slide towards the home team during the week.

Houston, which opened the week as 2.5-point favorites, currently sits with an even 3-point spread in their advantage, according to OddsShark. The over/under opened at 48 total points this week, but has since dipped a bit to 47.5, though it remains one of the higher point totals in all of Week 6.

Green Bay (2-3) averages 22.4 points per game through five games, good for 18th in the league, while the 5-0 Texans are scoring an average of 29.8 points per game, which is tied for third best in the NFL.

The Packers will be looking to rebound from a 30-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5, while Houston held on to defeat the New York Jets, 23-17, on Monday night.
