The Jacksonville Jaguars are holding their own against the Houston Texans as the two teams head into halftime tied at 17-17.
Houston scored on its opening drive as Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson hooked up three times to drive most of the length of the field. Schaub connected with Keshawn Martin for a 9-yard touchdown reception. Johnson has 132 yards on seven receptions.
Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne responded later in the game, scoring on back to back drives. He is 8-for-11 with two touchdowns and 177 yards.
Schaub picked up his second touchdown pass of the game with he connected with fullback James Casey with eight minutes left in the second quarter. Schaub is 15-for-22 for 185 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Arian Foster has remained relatively quiet, only garnering 44 yards on nine carries so far.
The two teams have been pretty evenly matched in the half and the Texans defense hasn't been able to slow the Jaguars down too much. Although they forced a fumble in the first quarter, the offense wasn't able to take advantage of the turnover. The Jaguars have 238 total yards through the half.
