Texans vs. Bills injury report: RB Ben Tate out with hamstring injury

The Texans will be without backup running back Ben Tate when the team takes on the Bills.

Jeremy Brevard-US PRESSWIRE

Earlier on Friday, the Houston Texans made it official that backup running back Ben Tate will be out against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Tate has been bothered by a strained hamstring, and did not practice all week. Replacing Tate as the backup running back will be Justin Forsett and Jonathan Grimes.

Tight end Owen Daniels had been held back on Thursday and Friday's practices, also due to a hamstring injury, but he is listed as probable and is expected to play.

Starting defensive tackle Shaun Cody saw even more progression from his injured back, and on Friday was a full participant in practice. He also is listed as probable against the Bills.
