The Houston Texans head to the northeast to play the New England Patriots in a possible playoff preview on Monday night.
Houston is 11-1 and on a six-game winning streak after surviving a couple of overtime scares in recent weeks. After claiming overtime wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions, the Texans dispatched of the Tennessee Titans by 14 points in Week 13.
Matt Schaub leads a balanced Houston attack, completing 64 percent of his passes for 245 yards per game while Arian Foster has added 1,102 rushing yards. Together, the Texans boast the fourth-best offense in the NFL.
At 9-3, New England has already wrapped up the AFC East title after winning six straight games of its own. The Patriots have won their last five games by an average score of 43-19 as Tom Brady has been as good as ever. Brady has thrown 25 touchdowns to only four interceptions, and averages 284 passing yards per game. New England has claim to the league's best offense.
