The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts are both dealing with significant injuries heading into their Week 15 meeting, which could carry significant playoff implications.
The Texans were without four players at practice on Wednesday. Defensive back Alan Ball, punter Donnie Jones, and linebackers Brooks Reed and Darryl Sharpton did not participate in drills. Meanwhile, seven other players, including defensive tackle Shaun Cody and backup running back Ben Tate, were limited. In total, Houston listed 21 players on their initial injury report for the week.
The Colts were missing six players from practice, including starting offensive linemen Winston Justice and Samson Satele. In addition, fellow OL starter Joe Reitz, who has already missed eight starts this season, was a full participant but still hasn't been cleared to play.
The Texans and Colts are slated to kick-off on Sunday at noon CT from Reliant Stadium in Houston. The game will be televised on CBS.
