Pro Bowl selection show 2013: Time, TV schedule, streaming and more

Two Houston Texans are almost sure locks to make the AFC team; who else from Houston could land on the roster?

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The 2013 Pro Bowl rosters for the NFC and AFC will be announced on Wednesday, Dec. 26 live on NFL Network at 6 p.m. CT.

The Pro Bowl ballots consists of players voted on by the fans, the coaches and the players themselves, in an event that has come under increasing fire, questioning the validity of the game itself. No matter the future of the Pro Bowl, being named to the team is still a high honor for players around the NFL.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is a lock to be a starter for the AFC team, with 20.5 sacks so far this season and one game left to try and break the all-time record. Arian Foster's 1,328 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns should also mean a sure spot on the team for the Houston running back.

The selection show will be carried live on NFL Network at 6 p.m. CT, while results will be posted live at NFL.com.
