Gary Kubiak and the Houston Texans didn't envision themselves playing in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs -- but that's exactly what they'll do this coming weekend. The NFL released its playoff schedule on Sunday night, and the Texans will kick off the NFL's Wild Card weekend.
Houston is set to play host to the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 3:30 p.m. CT. Cincinnati finished the regular season with a 10-6 record -- including an impressive 6-2 road record. Televised coverage between Cincinnati and Houston can be found on NBC.
Wild Card weekend will shift to the NFC following Houston's tilt against Cincinnati, as the Packers are set to play host to the Vikings at 7 p.m. CT. Televised coverage can once again be found on NBC.
On Sunday, Jan. 6, the Ravens will play host to the Colts at 12 p.m. CT (CBS), before two rookie quarterbacks square off in Washington when Robert Griffin III and the Redskins play host to Russell Wilson and the Seahawks at 3:30 p.m. CT (FOX).
