Ugh, another mock draft, another Texans pick of a wide receiver. What do we have this time? After the fallout of RGIII and the Redskins, SB Nation has Houston taking Kendall Wright:
↵↵↵Wright's draft stock slipped after a couple disappointing 40 times. Still, you have to work really hard to make a case against him based on what he showed in college. Wright makes a nice complement to Andre Johnson as a slippery, explosive second option in the offense.

My main problem with most of these drafts is that they leave defensive players who can help Houston on the board while taking a receiver. In this one? Not so much, as Dontari Poe goes No. 11, Fletcher Cox at No. 9, Melvin Ingram at No. 12, Luke Kuechly at No. 15 and even Nick Perry at No. 20.
↵In those circumstances, yeah, I could see a receiver getting taken. However, with the surprise jettisoning of Eric Winston on Monday, the Texans very well could be on the lookout for a new right tackle with the pick. We'll see how mock drafts respond to that in the coming weeks.
