2012 NFL Mock Draft: Texans Select WR, LB in NFL.com's Latest 2-Round Mock Draft

In NFL.com's latest two-round mock draft, put together by Charley Casserly, the Houston Texans use their first and second-round picks on a wide receiver and an outside linebacker. First, with their No. 26 overall pick, the Texans grab a wide receiver, just not the one you think.

26) Houston Texans: Rueben Randle, WR, LSU. Houston needs to upgrade the receiver position opposite Andre Johnson.

The Texans need a new wide receiver to play opposite of Andre Johnson to open things up for other receivers and Randle could fit the bill. Also, since Johnson has had durability issues, Randle could be the team's top wide receiver when he's out.

Then, with their second-round pick, the Texans select West Virginia outside linebacker Bruce Irvin.

58) Texans: Bruce Irvin, OLB/DE, West Virginia. Wade Phillips likes depth at outside linebacker and the Texans just lost Mario Williams. Offensive tackle is a consideration ,too, after the release of Eric Winston.

The loss of Mario Williams was big, and replacing him will be tough. A team can't ever have too man pass rushers and Irvin could be a good one.
