NFL Draft 2012: Houston Texans Select Ohio State WR DeVier Posey At No. 68

With the No. 68 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected DeVier Posey, wide receiver from the Ohio St. Buckeyes. Posey was only able to suit up for three games during his senior campaign after injuries and a key suspension derailed his final collegiate season.

The 6-foot-two, 213 pound Posey hauled in 136 passes for 1,955 yards with 18 touchdowns in four years with the Buckeyes. The No. 18 wide receiver available according to Mocking The Draft, Posey "displays good playmaking ability when the ball is consistently coming his way," and "excels on comeback routes and shallow crossing patterns."

A proven weapon in the right system, Posey's playmaking ability represents a much-needed upgrade for the Texans receiving corps. The hope is also to groom Posey to be a compliment to Andre Johnson.

The Texans's next pick is the No. 76 selection in the third round.
