The Houston Texans have added talent on both sides of the ball so far in the 2012 NFL Draft, and with three picks in the fourth round, the Texans are in great position to further replenish the talent on Houston's roster.
In a bit of a surprise move, the Texans focused on defense in the first round, selecting Whitney Mercilus, a defensive end from Illinois. Mercilus may line up at outside linebacker as well, and is an excellent pass rusher who should help fill the void left by Mario Williams.
Houston had to wait awhile to make another selection, as the Texans did not have a second round pick. With the fifth pick in the third round, the Texans addressed a need at wide receiver by drafting DeVier Posey from Ohio State. Gary Kubiak bolstered the offensive line in the third round as well, drafting guard Brandon Brooks from Miami Ohio.
For ease of reference, here's a list of Houston's selections in the 2012 NFL Draft:
Round 1, Pick 26 (26): Whitney Mercilus, DE/OLB, Illinois
Round 3, Pick 5 (68): DeVier Posey, WR, Ohio State

Round 4, Pick 4 (99)
Round 4, Pick 26 (121)
Round 4, Pick 31 (126)
Round 5, Pick 26 (161)
Round 6, Pick 25 (195)
