In SB Nation's NFL draft blog, Mocking the Draft's latest mock draft, the Houston Texans stick with the norm by selecting a wide receiver in the first round with their No. 26 overall pick. In this particular mock draft, that wide receiver is Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill.
Stephen Hill | Wide Receiver | Georgia Tech: Andre Johnson is one of the best wide receivers in the game, but the Texans lack a legitimate threat across from him. Stephen Hill has been phenomenal in the pre-draft process and deserves to sneak into the first round.
Considering the depth at the wide receiver position in this year's draft class and the Texans' need for a wide receiver to compliment Andre Johnson it's hard to believe that the Texans would pass up on a wide receiver with their first-round pick. With a receiver like Hill opposite of Johnson, quarterback Matt Schaub would have two top-notch targets to throw the ball to. It would also open things up for tight end Owen Daniels and slot receiver Kevin Walter.
Hill would also keep the offense running smoothly if and when Johnson misses games as he's had durability issues in the recent past.
