2012 NFL Supplemental Draft: Josh Gordon Taken By Cleveland Browns In 2nd Round

The Houston Texans weren't expected to make any sort of splash in the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft given the few prospects available in the first place, and that's exactly how things went down with top pick Josh Gordon today. The former Baylor wide receiver was drafted in the second round by the Cleveland Browns, a team desperate for help at wide receiver as they remake their entire offense.

The Browns give up a second round choice in the 2013 NFL Draft to get Gordon, a promising 6-4, 220 lb. receiver who sat out 2011 to transfer to Utah. Unfortunately he never suited up for the Utes this season, instead choosing to go straight to the NFL despite potential character concerns after being dismissed from Baylor for possession of marijuana.

Gordon was the only player selected in this year's draft.
