Randy Bullock being on Injured Reserve has suddenly made picking the starting Kicker for the Texans very easy.

Most of the names cut during the first big round of NFL cuts aren't ones that you know by heart or ones that you're expecting to hear, and that certainly held true for the Houston Texans. There really was no 'biggest name' among those cut, and the biggest move to get a roster space open probably came when they placed kicker Randy Bullock on injured reserve.

Their fifth round draft pick may not have been expected to start many games for the Texans in 2012, but his IR stint does all but guarantee the job for Shayne Graham:

And finally, while he wasn't cut, the Texans announced earlier today that they placed their fifth-round draft pick, Randy Bullock, on Injured Reserve. We almost certainly haven't seen the last of him, though it would appear Shayne Graham can be declared the winner of the kicking competition.

The final round of NFL cuts will take place on Friday as teams cut down to 53 players in preparation for the regular season.
