After this weekend's Hall of Fame induction, it's only natural to start looking around the league and projecting who might join players like Curtis Martin one day.
↵One player with a complicated case is Andre Johnson. The Houston Chronicle wonders if Johnson, who it feels has the credentials, can stay on the field enough to make it to Canton.
↵↵↵"Andre’s a great, great player, but there’s the question of injuries," said former defensive end Howie Long, an NFL studio analyst for Fox Sports. "If he stays healthy, I think he can (make it)."
↵
Johnson has been on the sideline often lately, missing 12 games over the last two seasons. He is currently nursing a minor groin strain but expects to practice on Monday.
↵Consistency is on his side, though. Johnson is the only receiver in NFL history to have at least 60 catches in his first eight seasons.
